Benders Landing and Benders Landing Estates – It’s a lifestyle
Benders Landing and Benders Landing Estates are two custom home acreage communities located in southeast Montgomery County in Spring, TX. Developed by LGI Land, Benders Landing first opened in 2002. Lots sales were brisk with the warm reception to the concept: bring your own builder with no time restriction on when you must build. Having quick access to the Hardy Toll Road and located just about 20 minutes from The Woodlands Town Center, the location is ideal for those who want the feel of country living while being in close proximity to excellent amenities.
With over 2,000 acres of land in total, both communities (which are adjacent to each other) are filled with hundred year-old magnolias trees, towering oaks of several varieties, and lofty pine trees characteristic of the great piney plains of the Southeastern United States. Several lakes dot the landscape, offering scenic views and a means for water to abate when we have our famous gulley-washing rain storms. The intricate engineering that LGI commissioned brought the majority of the lots out of the 100 year flood plain (per FEMA).
Benders Landing Estates was officially “open” for business in 2005. The difference with this community is that it added a Clubhouse facility and park for the residents’ use. Built around a 72-acre lake, the Clubhouse offers a wide range of options for family fun a junior Olympic-sized pool; a children’s splash pad, a wading pool for the youngest residents, a shade-covered play scape, a rentable meeting room, a workout facility, sports fields, and tennis and basketball courts. Also, paddle boats and canoes are available for a free rental for exploring the lake. Catch and release fishing is allowed on the lake and there is a gazebo with a grill that is available for bookings for your next gathering of family and friends. This facility offers you a great way to get out and meet your neighbors.
An independently-created social committee plans some fun events throughout the year so that you can meet other folks who share common interests. There’s the Casino Night in February, the Crawfish Boil in April, the Trunk-or-Treat in October, just to name a few. You can participate in as much or as little as you care to.
There are still many lots available for building your own custom dream home and resale homes ranging from around $500,000 to over $3,000,000 – if your time frame is shorter. Contact The Ray Larson Group today for more information!
