January 12-Family Game Night-Bunko Event
Location: The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park
Unplug with old-fashioned board games, bingo, and Bunko! This night of family fun is $5 per person; while pre-registration is not required, those who register in advance will receive a door prize upon check-in. Refreshments provided. Sponsored by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department.
January 13 -The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center
Location: The Woodlands Town Center
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center closes for the season January 15 so be sure to take advantage of this last chance to ice skate! Whether you are a seasoned skater or new to the sport, the ice rink is located indoors and features a state-of-the-art sound system. Weekend pricing is $12.50 for adults and $6 children age 5 and under.
January 26 – 2nd Annual Mother-Son Date Night
Location: The Recreation Center at Bear Creek Park
This fun event is a great way for mothers to spend quality time with their sons. Team up against other moms/sons in fun games and enjoy pizza and refreshments. Price is $40 per pair: $10 each additional sibling. Fun begins at 6:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Click here for more information and to register.
February 3 – Creating Wildlife Habitats in Community Spaces Workshop
Location: The Woodlands Emergency Training Center
In this informative workshop, residents will learn practical ways to create and maintain habitats for pollinators and other desirable wildlife like birds.
