Texas can be hot, this summer is no exception. But with so many fun family things to do in and around The Woodlands, you don’t have to break a sweat. Here’s our list of just a few activities to beat the summer heat!
Riva Row Boat House is a beautiful marina in The Woodlands that’s sure to make a splash! Perfect for many occasions, including a family outing, a date or group games. Because the boat house is within walking distance from shopping at Market Street and concerts at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, the location makes it a great spot to see The Woodlands Waterway.
The Woodlands Waterway Square features an interactive fountain and is surrounded by some of the best restuarants The Woodlands has to offer. Maybe even more importantly is the fact that it is connected to The Woodlands Mall by the waterway. See how much fun your kids could be having here [VIDEO].
Wet’n’Wild Spalshtown is a 53 acre water theme park located in Spring, Texas. It is home to many waterslides and attractions. The park includes eateries and hosts special events.
When fully complete, Big Rivers Waterpark will consist of 40 beautiful acres of water park fun in a natural, picturesque setting. The park is currently partially open as it continues to build on and finish construction at its New Caney location.
Emergent VR (Virtual Reality) Encounter is a high-tech gaming lounge located in The Woodlands, Texas, offering a wide range of VR encounters with packages to suit individuals, groups, parties and corporate team outings.
The Woodlands Children’s Museum is a cooperative learning environment that provides children with multiethnic and multicultural experiences.
Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline facility with plenty to do for all age groups. The facility includes attractions such as “the foam zone”, “skyslam”, and “ultimate dodgeball” as well as offers programs and events both public and private.
iFLY HOUSTON provides a safe and exciting indoor skydiving experience in a vertical wind tunnel. They offer programs and special events.
Main Event Entertainment is a fun making factory. The facility includes bowling lanes, lazer tag, arcades, pool tables, a bar, and eaterie. There’s something for people of all ages.
