Summer is here and The Woodlands is ready!

The Woodlands is home to several parks for families to get together for a cookout, fishing, music, and fun at the lake at places like Northshore Park, Rob Flemming Park, or Burroughs Park. But it you are looking to turn things up a notch, head just down the highway to Wet’n’Wild Splash Town water park.

Wet’n’Wild offers fun for the entire family with rides specifically for kids, thrill rides for the courageous, and those perfect for all family members to enjoy together. The most popular is the Big Kahuna where a group of riders board a raft and brave through the thrilling twists, turns, and tunnels of a whitewater journey.

Too intense? Enjoy a ‘lazy’, relaxing float in the sun around the Paradise River or sit near the water and savor the food, desserts and drinks, alcoholic or kid-friendly.

Be sure to check the Dive’n’Movies schedule for a summertime night out with the kids. Watch classic family movies while lounging in the Wild Wave Pool. So far this summer has scheduled movies such as Toy Story, The Secret Life of Pets, and Zootopia. If music is more your thing, Wet’n’Wild schedules free concerts throughout the season because not much beats live entertainment. Check out who will be gracing the stage this summer here.

At Wet’n’Wild there is something for everyone regardless of age or ride preference! So grab your family, head down I-45 from the Woodlands and cool off from the summer sun!
