The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater surrounded by forests offering entertainment ranging from rock concerts to classical performances. Some of the performers include the Houston Symphony, Houston Ballet, Chris Stapleton and Foreigner. The Pavilion operates as a non-profit organization to preserve the performing arts in the community.

 

The Woodlands Country Club
With golf courses designed by Hall of Fame golfers, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player, The Woodlands Country Club features private championship golf courses. Membership to the club offers access to these courses, use of fitness and pool facilities, full-service restaurants, and junior programs and social events.

 

The Woodlands Waterway District
This district provides occupational and entertainment value to The Woodlands. Featuring major employers such as Anadarko Petroleum and Woodforest National Bank, the area is always bustling with activity. In addition, restaurants and shops line the Waterway Square making it a choice destination for an afternoon of exploring. Some of the restaurants include The Gooses Acre, Churrascos, and Baker Street Pub. It’s a wonderful place to check out at night as the fountains are choreographed and feature lights and music.

 

Interfaith of the Woodlands
Whether you need assistance or are looking for a place to donate your time, the Interfaith of The Woodlands is a non-profit social service agency committed to making a difference in the community. Senior programs, counseling and job training, and financial assistance are just a few of the support services they offer. Don’t hesitate to contact them if you are in need and consider signing up to be a registered volunteer so Interfaith of The Woodlands can continue their mission of being an all-around community resource.
