If you are lucky enough to live in or around The Woodlands, TX, you know there’s always something fun happening in your community. August will be a month for concerts in The Woodlands, but there’s a number of other events going on as well.
For the Musically Inclined:
The Pavilion will be hosting a great array of concerts this August including Jimmy Eat World on the 4th, John Mayer on the 6th, Deep Purple and Alice cooper on the 18th, Foreigner on the 19th, and Lady Antebellum on the 27th. No matter your taste, from rock to country, the pavilion has something for you next month!
For the Kids:
The Barnes & Noble at the mall will be hosting a sweet and fun event for you and your youngsters every Thursday at 11:00am this summer. Miss Sam will be reading a story, and snacks will be provided. This is a wonderful family event to bring you and your kiddo closer together, meet new friends, and get your kid interested in books and reading!
For those with a Taste for Local Ingredients:
Come down to the Woodlands farmers’ market, which will continue to take place every Saturday at 8am. Not only is this a great way to stock up on fresh ingredients, but since this market is a non-profit endeavor, you’ll be giving back to your community.
The Woodlands has so much to offer, whether you are a die-hard concert goer, at-home chef, parent, or all of the above! If you’re looking for an excuse to get out of the house this August, check out the Woodlands events calendar for some more ideas and inspiration.
